Romeo is a heavy duty, multi-purpose, cold water soluble stabilizer that will amaze you!
This stabilizer is the weight of soft vinyl, is very stable, and has no stretch. It acts as a strong support for intricate and exciting lace, jewelry, or free motion designs and is a convenient stabilizer for any hooped digitized project as well.

So what has a teddy bear, made from bright red fabric, got to do with stabilizer? Well, there was no fabric, he's made from lots and lots of stitches applied directly to Romeo film, which is then dissolved away using nothing more than cold water. Amazing!

The beauty of this product is that it is easy to use, just hoop the Romeo as you would fabric and stitch! You can also use Romeo without a hoop for free motion embroidery. You can write on this film to trace a design, and some folks have used an ink jet printer to transfer a design directly to the film! Romeo works well with all weights of threads from the heaviest to the most delicate.
Romeo rinses away completely and easily using just cold water. Unlike other wash-away stabiliers that may require several layers of product to achieve true stability, a single layer of Romeo is enough for even the most delicate lacy designs. No special storage is needed. Romeo is not easily affected by humidity.
