This pen is specially designed to accommodate a custom insert in the clear plastic barrel up to 2-3/8" long x 1-3/4" wide x 3/32" thick making it perfect for you to personalize with your machine embroidery. You could also insert needlework, quilted pieces, beads (up to 2.5 mm), or other creative items. Simply unscrew the pen cap, remove the clear plastic cover and paper insert (which doubles as a template), cut your embroidered fabric to size, wrap it around the pen, replace the clear plastic cover and screw the cap back on. You now have created a one-of-a-kind pen! This high quality pen has a soft ergonomic grip and a medium ball point for smooth writing. Comes with a black ball point cartridge and uses standard Parker Pen refills.
