Jana was on of the winner's in our project contest and won a Solar Active Thread Kit. Here is a note from Jana:

"I have really been enjoying the solar active thread you sent me recently. I found this project in Creative Machine Embroidery Magazine, the holiday newsstand issue. It was really fun to do and pretty in the window. In the morning over coffee the designs are all white - by the time I get home from work in the late afternoon they are beautiful colors. I think they'll make unique gifts for friends this Christmas. I put the solar active thread in the bobbin also, so that they look good from both sides. The designs are embroidered on cotton organza - nice and sturdy - no need for a stabilizer."
